Ryan and Angela

It's almost embarrassing how long I have taken to put up pictures of this beautiful wedding on the blog. Ryan and Angela are an amazing couple! They are obviously deeply in love with each other and were so relaxed on the day, that it made my job easy! I don't think I've ever laughed as much while photographing a wedding party - so much fun!

Nathalie and Claude are married!

It was really special shooting my childhood friend's wedding. It was a chance to reunite with people I hadn't seen in a while, and I got to make many new connections too. Everyone had a great time: the food was delicious, the slideshows hilarious, and the dancefloor packed all night. I've got to say, Nath and Claude had the best first dance I have ever seen!! You may recognize their inspiration... :)

"Malgrès la pluie...." meaning, even though it rained the day we scheduled the shoot, we had a lot of fun! I love it when I can drag clients all over the place... more photos to come!

Tandela and Carlos

Oh my gosh, I'm excited about all weddings that I am going to shoot, but this one, ... this one is special. Tandela and I go way back... we played university basketball together. We got a lot closer since I moved to Calgary 5 years ago, and she is going to be my maid of honor next summer; I will be one of her two bridesmaids in January. How fun! I am also in the process of designing her wedding invitations with the pictures we took at their engagement session. These two are so in love and destined to be. It's going to be an amazing wedding!!

I got to meet Sophie and Carl's little guy today! What a cutie, and look at all that hair! There will be more photos to come...

Nathalie and Claude

Nathalie is one of my oldest friends from Switzerland. I have know Claude for a few years now. I was so happy to hear last February that they got engaged after returning from a 5 month long adventure around the globe. I am even more excited to be the photographer at their wedding in October! It will take place in Switzerland, which enables to visit family while I'm there. So stoked!!

Brenda & Rod

I was so happy to meet Brenda and Rod through a mutual friend. You can tell mom to be is super excited to meet her little one! All day, the weather had been grim, but just before our meeting, the sky opened up. We ended up having gorgeous evening light. They were up to everything I suggested, and I had a great time photographing them! I am so blessed to be able to do what I do.

These shots are from a maternity session I did before my holidays too. We decided to go to the park after doing some indoor shots, and it was well worth it! The light was superb. Sophie and Carl are a lovely couple and I can't wait to meet their little boy soon.

Here are some photos of Jay and Elisha's wedding on July 25th 2009. It was a beautiful affair, with exquisite attention to detail, a touching ceremony, and a fun party! It was a honor to capture this event in photograph, I loved every moment of it. Good health and all the best to you Jay and Elisha!
