Lazy Sunday Morning.... Dimanche tranquille

Il est dimanche et j'attends des clients au bureau. Normalement, le dimanche, c'est mon jour de repos. C'est le jour du Seigneur après tout :)
Mais les clients sont un couple du Tessin, donc je m'accommode. L'attente me permet un moment de détente... C'est paisible; le silence interrompu seulement par le gazouillement des oiseaux, les cris des enfants sur la place de jeux en contrebas, ou le bruit d'un avion qui passe de temps en temps. Que j'aime ces moments où je me permets une pause. J'ai du travail à faire bien sûr (2 séances maternités, un mariage à finir, et un album à créer) mais comme ils arriveront d'un moment à l'autre je sais que ça vaut pas la peine de commencer. Et puis j'en ai pas envie.
Un de mes passe-temps favori est de regarder les blogs consacrés au mariage et à la photo. Toujours en quête d'inspiration, et histoire de voir ce qui se fait ailleurs.

Wedding Silvio & Chantal - preview

This was my first wedding of the season; how lucky we were with the weather! It had been raining for days, but the sun decided to make a timely appearance that day. The location, Schloss Grünenstein, was gorgeous! Old stone, beautiful greenery, antique props...I was in photographer's paradise!
Silvio and Chantal are really sweet people, and a special couple to me: I have known Silvio since I was a child, but I hadn't seen him or his family in a very long time. It was such a wonderful experience hanging out with their respective families and getting to meet all the new (little) additions. Chantal's family is Austrian -note how her family and Andrin are wearing authentic cultural dress.  Guys, I had a great time - thank you!

A beautiful young family - Une nouvelle petite famille

Comme j'ai de la chance de pouvoir faire le métier que je fais! L'occasion de renconter des gens super sympas comme Angee et Alwynn et de photographier un autre petit miracle de la vie... Leur petit garçon Finley a à peine 3 jours...n'est-il pas adorable?!

Ceci est un tout petit aperçu de la suite qui sera sur le blog la semaine prochaine.

Angee, Alwynn, you guys are awesome. I can't wait to finish your beautiful pictures and hang out with you again! Hang tight for the rest of your photos - they'll be done by next week.

NOUVELLES PHOTOS Séance "Maternité" - Maternity Session - Lausanne

Cette séance... j'adore!!! La lumière était parfaite, Alexandra & Maxime aussi! Ils attendent leur deuxième enfant, et Alexandra m'a engagée pour un shooting, en cadeau à son mari pour son anniversaire. Vous auriez dû voir sa tête quand elle lui a annoncé que je serais leur "accompagnatrice" pour l'après-midi. :) Bref, comme ils aiment tous les deux la photo, ils étaient tout de suite très à l'aise. Après une petite séance intime à la maison, on est partis dans les rues de Lausanne. Ils n'avaient d'yeux que l'un pour l'autre, c'était vraiment touchant...
Voici quelques photos en avant-première. Ils y en aura d'autres d'ici jeudi (ainsi qu'un mariage du week-end passé) - alors repassez voir!

This has to be one of my favorite sessions so far... Alex & Maxime are the sweetest couple, so much in love and so much fun too!
They are expecting their second child and Alex hired me as a surprise gift for her husband's birthday. You should have seen the look on his face when he saw this stranger sitting in his living room (maybe it had something to do with how she introduced me as their "accompanist" for the afternoon). But they both love taking photos and got right into it immediately. We had a great time perusing the streets of Lausanne, photographing in some of their favorite spots. Here are a couple of pics as a preview - I will be adding more (as well as a wedding from this past week-end) on Thursday! So check back in then :)
